Revit Families

What is the Family Library?
It is a web service that allows Revit Users to search and find, buy and download generic or manufacturer-specific Revit content. This content could include 3D models, specifications, and descriptions for that product or component.
Is your content parametric?
Yes, all our content is parametric. There are no “block” families in our library.
What is contained within a family? Is it just one model?
It varies from family to family. Generally, our families are ranges of a given manufacturer’s product. For example, the family Angle Valve – Crane – 384P – 0.25-2 Inch – Threaded has a total of 8 types within the family, covering the whole range for that valve, i.e. ¼”, 3/8”, ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 2”.
Do you use look-up tables?
Yes. Though not in all families.
How do I download files from Broutek to use with Revit?
After either buying the file you need from our Library or through a Content Request, you can download the relevant design files straight from our website.
How can I use the files that I download from Broutek?
Your use of the files downloaded from Broutek is governed by our Terms of Use.
What are the sources of the content that I can find?
At this stage, all download files are generated by Broutek. In the future, we may offer download files generated by third parties.
What do you mean by Content Request?
The Content Request is a service we offer that allows you to specify Revit content you need for our team to create. It's a completely free service and there's no obligation to purchase the families requested. To make a content request, you need to have an account with us. If you do not have one already, you are asked to create one before submitting your request. Submitting a request is a simple process of describing the product needed and give references that help us to model the product.

Manufacturers

I am a manufacturer. Can I have my products on your site?
